It is with great pleasure and a sense of pride that we announce the Indo Pacific Military Health Exchange 2021-22. It holds a great significance and is especially relevant in the aftermath of the global pandemic as we are finally moving towards a normal life after adopting some 'new normals'. We feel honoured and privileged to welcome you to this International event which will be held at New Delhi, India from 07-10 March 2022 along with our Co-Hosts the USINDOPACOM.

The purpose of this mega conference is to share knowledge and create dynamic networking among the member Nations and States who have expertise in the field of Military Healthcare and Military Medicine.

The IPMHE 2021-22 will showcase a plethora of topics and offer an academic feast to suit all palates. It will also share an insight into the recent research and cutting edge technologies which will attract immense interest with colossal and exuberant presence of adept, brilliant and talented delegates from across the Globe.

The central theme of the Conference is 'Military Healthcare in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) World'. It describes the situation of constant, unpredictable change that is now the norm in all spheres of the world. The broad subjects under this theme are Challenges and Lessons learnt from the Covid-19 Pandemic, Tropical Emergencies, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), Health Protection and Promotion in a Military Environment and Experience in Combat Medical Support. The Conference will have simultaneous scientific sessions, poster presentations, panel discussions and exhibitions encompassing the broad themes. Eminent experts in the field of Military Medicine will deliver the keynote address & plenary talks.

Delhi is the heart of India. It is a blend of diverse cultures and is a symbol of India's rich past and thriving present where the old and new converge seamlessly. This place touches your heart & soul together. The city offers the best of ancient civilization and a young, modern yet evolving Nation to its visitors.

The meeting will be a perfect opportunity for all participating Nations to learn about best practices of modern Military Medicine and build & strengthen the Bridges of Friendship. It is time to unite & celebrate the event in this Global City.

Aloha and Namaste! I hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy.

As the Command Surgeon of United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), it is my distinct honor to welcome your attendance at the Indo-Pacific Military Health Exchange (IPMHE), co-hosted by India's Armed Forces Medical Services and USINDOPACOM.

This premier regional event will take place March 7th to 10th, 2022 in the culturally rich and vibrant New Delhi, India.

These are truly challenging times – the COVID-19 pandemic has spread around the globe at remarkable speed and has had a devastating impact. The pandemic has reshaped all of our lives and underscored the importance of partnerships, shared best practices, and working together to meet the next challenge in this quickly changing world, The conference theme, "Military HealthCare in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) World," captures these challenging times and allows us to share our different military medicine approaches and successes.

IPMHE 2021-22 will offer relevant and exciting topics spanning the healthcare spectrum in areas such as Operational Medicine, Global Health Security, Women, Peace and Security, and Military Medicine Research and Innovation. The agenda also includes highly engaging activities, including leadership sessions, poster presentations, panel discussions and exhibitions. These are all designed to facilitate fruitful and engaging conversation and collaboration around shared regional interests.

The conference provides attendees a great opportunity for networking, information exchange and collaboration with military medical professionals from more than 30 countries. I encourage your very active and enthusiastic participation, as your experience will bring richness and depth to this event. We have so much to learn from each other and I look forward to engaging discussions,learning from you all and working to build partnerships and innovations that will move us all forward into a safer world.

About IPMHE 2021-22

The Indo Pacific Military Health Exchange (IPMHE) formerly known as Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange (APMHE) has its origins in the Asia Pacific Military Medicine Conference (APMMC), which was first held in 1990.

The IPMHE is co-hosted by the Armed Forces of a country in the Asia-Pacific region together with the United States Indo-Pacific Command (US INDOPACOM). During the course of the event medical professionals from countries and international organisations participate and discuss regional/ global health issues.
